These gummies became my Delta 9 THC go-to while I was testing them. The 10mg serving of THC is a pretty large one as far as hemp-derived gummies go – what can I say, that level of Delta 9 just spoke to me!
Tasty Temptations: Fresh Delta 9 THC Gummies
I tested these gummies by consuming one each morning for seven days. I also supplemented that dose on an “as needed” basis throughout the testing period, adding an extra gummy to my afternoon routine on days where that THC uplift was required.
As I said, these really became my go-to gummy during that testing week, so those extra uplifts became something to look forward to.
To fit 10mg of THC into each serving and stay legally below 0.3% THC by weight, these gummies are a little bigger than some. But the chew here is pretty nice, kind of melt-in-the-mouth more than some. There are multiple fruit flavors inside each jar – fruit punch, mango, and apple – and this was the rare gummy where I could distinguish flavors and developed a favorite – that would be the fruit punch, strangely blue here, but kind of Kool Aid tasting and delicious.
The flavor of these was completely devoid of terpene or natural cannabis taste. The takeaway there is that this Delta 9 THC is likely synthetically derived from chemical transfiguration of CBD isolate, not naturally extracted from the hemp plant itself. This is the case with most Delta 9 THC products on the market, and is a bit of a turn-off for me.
Which made these tasty temptations from Fresh all the more a guilty pleasure for me.
Fresh Delta 9 THC Gummies: Reviewing the Effect
As I often share, consuming these gummies with coffee was a great way to kickstart the euphoric feeling of the Fresh Delta 9 THC. Taking one with a cup of coffee, it wasn’t long at all before I could feel a pleasant tingle coming on.
I would describe the feeling I got from these Fresh gummies as more of a body sensation than mental. My body felt energized, alive, ready to go. The euphoric mental sensation was there too, but a little more “back of the brain.”
These are excellent therefore for someone seeking less brain fog, more body sensation. I think these would be excellent for someone who uses THC for relief from pain or nausea.
As always, I appreciate the 10mg of all-natural CBD in these gummies too. The CBD really is the secret to an engaged endocannabinoid system in your body powering an all-day feeling of wellness, and also complimenting and heightening the euphoric effect of the Delta 9 THC (this is called the “entourage effect.”)
I would be remiss if I didn’t note that the effect of the Delta 9 THC in these gummies felt a little more variable than other products I’ve tested. A couple of gummies left me feeling not much THC effect at all, and a couple of these gummies seemed to have a bit extra kick. Variability of dose in the gummies is therefore a bit of a concern…but this is really an industry wide problem, not localized to just the Fresh brand of products.
